Define bigotry and sectarianism.

 

I have done. I have Protestant and Catholic friends, I respect each side's history and culture. I work in perfect harmony with immigrants to our fair land and I get on very well with them. I never engage in sectarian violence and I never judge or belittle people for their religious beliefs.

Whilst I agree with the sentiments expressed by the OP, it's worth bearing in mind that it is England's God-given duty to slap the woppos about from time to time. So they know we're still boss nation, and cos the yanks, who are basically cr@p at war, can't get by without our help.

 

Why is that? They have probably the largest military force in the world and they have had a colossal number of military cock ups

 

Dunno why America makes a mess of every war it fights. Despite having every technological and economic advantage, they can be relied upon to get their noses bloodied by farmers toting muskets.

We needed fresh cannon fodder. So, yes, they came in very handy indeed.

 

Think you'll find it was Hitler's decision to invade Russia that pulled us out of the hole in 1941.

 

I think they tend to do well against conventional military tactics but they can't handle guerilla tactics at all as evidenced in places like Vietnam

I suppose if it hadn't been for the yanks we'd all be speaking Russian now, because Stalin's tanks wouldn't have stopped at Berlin. But I think they spent most of WW11 teaching my auntie how to jive.

 

Probably true about the Russian tanks continuing into Western Europe but not likely we`d be speaking Russian. The former Eastern Block nations retained their languages
