Watched the match and apart from Dubravka we were absolutely sh.te. Toothless in midfield without Shelvey and forwards, what forwards. It could quite easily have been 5 or 6 with them hitting the post. Could it be part of Rafa's plan to force Fatty into buying to protect his money before it's too late.
In fairness, we were without our best CB for half the match (the half where the goals were scored), our 2nd best CB for the whole match, our best two midfielders, and our new striker. We probably subbed off first teamers before some of the goals were scored? It's not a great result but it's not panic stations just yet. Pre-season games mean nowt and it's all is about fitness first and foremost.
