Decent choice...? https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/20...ge-honeyman-will-wear-the-armband-this-season
100% imo. Great player and attitude. Hopefully puts to bed the rumours of him wanting away. Not sure if they were bollocks to begin with, or we've just talked him round. Either way, I'm happy
Great news. We've got to hang on to players like Honeyman. Seems we have natural leaders throughout the squad now.
Good choice I hope we can hold onto him maybe he may feel wanted and not want To move Just in case his heads turned
Local lad keen as mustard what's not to like. There are a few in our squad who must have been under consideration but I'm happy for George, well done son.
I was very disappointed, when a request for transfer was mentioned, was Big Tits Byrne his agent ?, was it him who even asked ?, so in the end all it took was a little cuddle and a bit of recognition, glad he is staying, you never know we may in the future have a first team of all ex academy lads , wouldn't that be great
Him and Cattermole have her as an agent. Both of them need to sack her. She destroyed any remaining goodwill fans had towards catts. Anyway, honeyman is a great choice imo and great to see an academy lad get it.
Funny bit at the end when he realises he doesn't know how old Honeyman is https://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2018/july/ross-hails-honeyman-leadership
Great choice in my view. Sunderland through and through and with a squad full of natural captains he will have good mentors alongside of him. Chuffed for him and shows J R knows what a local lad as skipper means to us fans.
Is he a Mag? Just wondering...not being negative cos I think it's a good choice of captain. Just wondering where he's from?...
Slightly digressing but can Mumba wear the shirt considering his age and the gambling association or does he have to wear a kiddies shirt?
What shirt did he wear when he came on against Wolves - I think it was an adult shirt with the dafabet logo
