Good morning everyone, getting exciting isn't it.
most enjoyable match i remember was beating sheffield wednesday 6-1(must have been early 90's) unfortunately was not their, but saw on sunday telly ?just one of the most awesome displays from any Leeds team or anyone else i have seen,it was one of those games every time we attacked a goal was on,could have been double figures that day. i have a feeling we might just see something like this again this season.<bubbly>

Morning SW, Chapman hattrick as well. It was a defining moment. It was at that point that I thought to myself, we have something special here...

Ban the first poster who drags it off topic. But you better tell Bucks he needs to get a replacement mod if you do..

Milky was saying that Woods is a dwarf at 5ft 6. If that makes Woods a dwarf, surely Shaks is an umper lumper?

    1992 I believe.

    I hAVE 2.

Scum away in the FA cup.
On paper we had no chance - 9000 of us making all the noise.
Fergie having the hump because we took the piss all the way through.

Sheff utd away to all but secure the title and getting back to Leeds to watch scum feck it up. Best football day ever for me.

Favourite season was 85 when we won nothing but made the FA cup semi and the play of final and replay. Didn't miss a game and defying logic and expectation to so nearly win the cup and get promotion was fantastic.

    Good morning Matt & everyone

Leeds v Spurs (FA Cup 6th round) 1972

    Yes of course :scarfe2:

    2-1

John Pratt had given Spurs the lead totally against the run of play midway through the first-half. Leeds hit back with goals from Clarke & Charlton. One of the greatest matches ever

Just to prove my point here is an article from one of the football websites

'Viewers of ‘Match of the Day’ had been fed on a diet of Leeds United brilliance in the weeks before the FA Cup Quarter-Final clash with Tottenham Hotspur and in this match Spurs were devoured by United with another sizzling show. The famous 7-0 demolition of Southampton and the 5-1 thrashing of Manchester United had shown Leeds at their arrogant best. Although the win over Tottenham was slender there was an enormous gulf in class between the two sides. Leeds matched, if not bettered their displays against Southampton and Manchester Utd Only a world class performance by Northern Ireland International Pat Jennings prevented a landslide. Leeds played near perfect football in the first half when they were attacking the ‘Scratching Shed’ end'

Cant remember the fecking year but still remember the noise the ball made as it hit the net at St Andrews in the replay and the traffic jam on the way to Selhurst Park..

    Morning all.

Just wondering if everyone is aware of Glories Salon as there does seem to have been a lack of a decent promotional budget. If ever there was a soft opening then this is definitely it.

However be warned that it is not a place for the faint hearted so enter at your own peril as once in you cannot leave.

The good news is that now Glory has been corralled or neutered as I prefer to call it the forum is a now a safe place for all to participate in without fear of someone having your trousers down on some spurious fishing trip.

There may still be bait in the water though so please be careful when hungry.

    Oh look it's Max Clifford.
Fishing trips will still occur but less heed will be taken of feelings in the salon.
