Awful first touch and far too greedy when he's got the ball. Get rid if the money is right.....**** it, just get rid even if it isn't ! If fit I'd rather use Aarons as backup for Kenedy. Having nobody as backup for Kenedy is better than having Atsu tho so it's a win win for us surely?
I know he's been unlucky with injuries but 38 appearances in 4 seasons(11 with Hellas) says it all,not a fan.
Atsu is preferable to Aarons. I know who I'd rather we got shot of but I'm assuming Atsu's stock is higher with other clubs after all Aarons' injuries and legal issues.
I like the idea of upgrading Atsu with Limbombe. If we just keep chipping away like we have been upgrading each position on our limited budget, it’s been a good summer.
I 100% agree on this. Evolution not revolution - minor improvements in as many places as possible. I think the dealings we've done have actually been pretty good, I just find it frustrating that given the money we've brought in and the money we've spent it feels very much as though we should still have enough money floating around to finance the sorts of deals we seem to not be able to finance. Indeed it's hard to see any actual investment of money other than just sales financing purchases. Window isn't closed yet though, I'm hoping to see more investment in the first team. If there isn't then it's hard to say we've done enough and even you will be hard pressed to argue Ashley has put his money where his mouth is.
I sold my Xbox 360 for 250 quid once and bought a ps3 for 200 quid on eBay. I realised I made a mistake as the new PS4 came out two weeks later. I then sold my ps3 for 100 quid but couldn’t afford the PS4 so I had to bang the wife again..... there’s a moral to this story. Invest in the future and always try and improve... For the record I’m single now!
Rafa is some manager. You just have to hope that Ashley goes in the next 12 months. If not Rafa will be going elsewhere.
It depends on what finance is available. None of us are party to the running costs so I don't know what should be available. I just know our manager has better players as he sees it and more options he can use.
