Fantastic news and a brilliant addition to our squad. Only 2 permanent signing so far but both top quality for our league with plenty of time and scope for improvement. Still believe there could be more to come and we are playing a blinder this transfer window by keeping cool calm and collected...the exact opposite to what most posters have been on here since the end of last season.
Depends on Bielsa and who he wants, it’s refreshing to see Orta actually working with Bielsa on bringing targets in. I prefer this approach to Orta going out and buying another 4-5 players from SerieB costing between 500k and £3m we don’t need anymore De Bock, Ekuban or Cibicki players draining the wage pot
Yes Shaks but if we'd gone barging in a month ago the price would have been £15M and the deal wouldn't have happened. An opportunity arose because another player Boro were looking to move on picked up an injury and for once we were able to pounce.
I agree with you Jammy, I'm not grumbling about the signing, I just want this side to be ready for Sunday and I want to see us hit the ground running and get the three points, because I reckon Stoke will be there or there about come the end of the season.
Stoke will be expected to win the division in a similar manner to Wolves last season. However they are going to get the game of their lives at ER on Sunday as we will now be able to put out a team that can not only match them but beat them. Hope to see you for a beer afterwards all being well.
