Probably been covered before (been off the board for a while), but I really prefer black shorts to red ones. We look like Liverpool from behind (at least in one way) and I can't say they're growing on me...

    I'm a fan

Not necessarily when we return to having a red and white striped top, but at present while we have this stupid solid red back, I have to break with tradition and say that the red shorts work for me

Discussing this on the O'Nien thread yesterday. All of the new player photos have them in the red shorts. Looks to me like that's going to be the 'home' shorts with the black ones as the 'alternate home' shorts.

Still think the strip looks cheap.

Damn sight better than last years paper bag attempt.

Got to say I'm a bit of a traditionalist and prefer the black shorts and a shirt with the stripes front and back.
Our strip always looked good back in the day, and if it ain't broken why keep fixing it other than to fleece the fans of their hard earned cash.

I hate the red shorts. And as stated above... Apparently the black ones are 2nd choice at home. It just looks crap imo. That with the solid red back on the shirt is a total break with tradition. Mebbies it's the older people like myself who prefer the traditional look?...

Almost certainly is us older guys who prefer the traditional black shorts Tiz.

Nowt wrong with tradition. It's our history, who we are.

    I'm with Cumbrian on this.

I'm chuffed with all the recent changes going on at the club and I read yesterday that they're now talking about changing the names of the stands. That's fine, won't lose any sleep over that. But at least stay honest to our colours. And stripes.

Like the red socks though, albeit they lack the white roll-over...

Let's get back to our traditions ;)
