Good Morning Everyone Being the generous club we are, we gave Las Palmas a parting gift for them to take back to the Canary Islands. We gave them Hadi Sacko... The 24yo joins Las Palmas on a season long loan! Sampdoria are set to complete the signing of Ronaldo Viera today for a fee in the region of 7m. The 20yo has not been able to replicate the same form that he did two seasons ago, and has fallen down the pecking order and out of Bielsa's first team plans. I know what you're going to say, he's only 20, great potential bla; but we already have a large midfield, which has grown further overnight as Leeds announced the season long loan of highly rated winger Jack Harrison. Will the Viera money go on Bamford, or will we see a marquee signing? Could we see the Vydra deal resurrected? The rumours doing the rounds about Pennington coming back are false according to a club insider. He is expected to sign for Wigan.
Morning elland, hope the money goes towards a centre back or a physical forward thinking midfielder/ no10. Viera has been a bit hit and miss since the beginning of last season so not overly bothered if he goes or not. Really hoping the new lad from city will mean the end of alioski and I can still see saiz leaving before August 9th. As always it's going to be a roller coaster so hold on and good luck to one and all Leeds fans.
Morning all. I would not sign Vydra for free. I am not expecting Leeds to play like Barcelona on Sunday. That will not happen overnight. Good teams take time to develop, but Marcelo is altering the culture at the club, and I believe the kids and most of the seniors are buying into it. Whatever happens on Sunday we will improve. Good luck lads.
Good Morning to Matt and co from a sunny Cote de Bardsey Well I think that £7m for Viera is great business and get rid of Sacko to boot .Rather concerned we are mentioned with Pennington let him go to Wigan to team up with OKane Still like to think we have still 2 signings in the pipeline when asked a few days ago how many signings I said 5 as we have now signed 3 that leaves a CB and another striker; For not a lot of money I like the look of Nelson Oliviera .An elegant striker composed and passionate and would lead the line well .The Norwich manager doesn't like him so a bid around £3m mark should start the ball rolling The CB it seems that another Chelsea loanee is coming to join his 2 mates Lets forget about Vydra and let him stew he has fallen out with Derby and really I think he will regret messing us about I hope so Hernandez must realize that he will have to get fit and then reduce his wage demands by 70k a week Finally as I learned yesterday don't take out Admiral insurance on your as you have to tell them about speed awareness course which to me makes no sense have you have not been charged with anything!
Morning Mike. How did you go on at the speed awareness course. I went a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was very good.
If Ronaldo Vieira does go I hope we have a good sell on clause and some bonus payments in addition to the 7 mil
There is an alternative solution. Know the rules of the road and stick to them. If you can't do that then at least keep your eyes open for the speed limit signs and big yellow Gatso boxes. Insurance is about risk those that drive irresponsibly quickly are a bigger risk, especially when they get past 55 and their reaction times go down by an average of 2% a year so their premiums should go up. BTW that's the entire group of companies that admiral belong to and not just admiral.
Morning Nick, there's always a backlash when a player comes through the youth ranks (albeit temporarily in his case) and then leaves after a few seasons, but as you pointed out, he was not the same player after coming back from the England u20's a year ago...
Morning Chippy. from my experience most people who drive irresponsibly and take risks are well under 55.
Morning WCD, unfortunately today's football World is too money oriented to care about emotion and if a team can see a deal coming, they'll take it regardless of past.
