Go to a Muslim country and I suspect you’ll find pretty much all the dog handlers are Muslim. They don’t have them as pets, but working dogs are acceptable, according to that book of nonsense they live by.
Which countries discriminate against women? Or gays? Or LGBTQ? What is the dominant religion in most of those countries?
If someone was an entrenched believer in the code of 'honour' which meant that females in that family had to obey without question (or risk physical disfigurement or even death), should those views be welcomed as 'diverse' or should they be aggressively challenged? In other words, in welcoming different values and cultures, are you nurturing values diametrically opposed to our own?
