Firstly hats off to Leeds60 I wish the OAP's around here would get out of second gear, the amount of times I get stuck behind someone doing a leisurely 30 in a 60 zone, it drives me mad. I'm not sure what to make of the transfer activity today, very disappointed that the Vydra deal seems dead, Sky are reporting wages and Vydra having concerns about joining a team that finished below Derby hence why he isn’t willing to drop his demands as he hopes to play in the PL one day Harrison looks a handy acquisition, more importantly another player wanted by Bielsa and although I’ve never overly rated Vieira it worries me that so many do and we have sold him on the cheap, not just to a nobody kind of team, Sampdoria, it makes me feel I am very wrong about him.
I'd love to know where Bielsa wanted Vydra to play, we were going to be putting a lot of eggs into one basket. Adding our early interest for Abdel Hernandez and putting 2+2 together I'm pretty sure Vydra was wanted for the #10 position and we were still going to get another striker either way. With both Saiz and our own Hernandez currently handy in that position I am wondering if we were going for Vydra and we were going to sell Saiz, now the Vydra deal seems dead we've sacrificed Vieira instead as we'll need Saiz?
I probably average about 40 posts a month these days as frankly there is little but fantasy to talk about. By October there will be plenty to discuss new players, lost ones and the caliber of this new manager. I think bashing is a little severe Shaks. But if it’s what you believe that’s sound with me. I post what I passionately feel about the club and frankly it’s been difficult this summer to be bothered posting at all at times

You are of course entitled to your opinion Eire and I get as fed up and frustrated as you. But I look forward to the start of a new season and forget what happened in the season before. Now the doom and gloom merchants may well be proved right and we may well have another **** season. But I find it hard to listen to people who don't even let the season begin until criticising the club. Like you I remember the great days of the club, be it as a very young kid and only seeing that side on TV. We will never see a team like it again. But a team is for life and IMO a true fan/supporter takes the good days and the bad. Apologies if you feel slighted with my use of the word bashing, but I just felt your posts have because negative recently. It wasn't meant to be taken as a personal attack.
