Just placed a heavily seasoned pork butt/shoulder into the slow cooker. I seared the outside quickly to create that nice “bark” or crust. Eight hours from now boy..I’m gon eat nice yo.
Had roast ham dinner, cauli & brocolli cheese, peas and new spuds. Home made rice pudding for afters and a bottle of Malbec to accompany the whole things. Now enviously watching the seniors Open.
Just polished off a rare breed pork roast. Made a crispy coating for the roasters and the parsnips. Cauliflower cheese with crispy bacon bits in it. Tenderstem broccoli, stuffing made with Lincolnshire sausages. Oh and sweetheart cabbage.
Had a roast earlier followed by a roast chicken and stuffing sandwich in 3 thickly cut slices of fresh bread. Thinking of chip shop for dinner.
Kids doing enchiladas tonight. Was made up as she does them nice. But heard it's halloumi and veg. Not happy
