didnt spend an inordinate amount of time following th preseason shenanigans. How did our Pre season go. Real replies only please, not what you dreamt up
Worth mentioning that the Las Palmas team we beat last night cuffed Birmingham 4-1 a couple of days ago. So we're not having the worst pre-season.
So Las Palmas are not only Spanish second division ****e they were also knackered. We on the other hand having not played were fresh and we just scraped a very late win... Just saying.
How many times did the first team probable starting 11 play together? I’ll admit a strange preseason but we have a bit of a strange coach who is bringing a new approach. We have Douglas to enter the arena, we have Pontus to return, we have Klich who is like a new signing and we possibly have Bamford to come, for me an impressive improvement on last season (on paper), let’s see how we do.
I wonder is this the preseason our manager would have wanted. Hardly ideal and was put together before he arrived
They were knackered after playing 2 football games in a week ? Maybe by your council worker standards, that's hard work, but not for the rest of the world.
Klitch has played 3 games in a week, inhuman treatment by Leeds you see we have been playing as well,or when you say we,do you mean Charlton.
Or someone who is totally lost and doesn't know what the feck he's doing? Bit like me being coach/manager of a footy team. No idea what I'm doing, but because I do 'strange' things, I'm considered an experimental genius. (God help me if I were to win a match, I'd be fecked!)
That's what he tried to tell the police when they turned up at the public toilets, using it as a makeshift changing rooms, he said. Shame the nearest football pitch was 10k away !!!
Pre season is all about fitness, and in our case, the new manager having a good look at his players.Players have said they have trained hard, lost weight and increased muscle, the new manager is now strengthening the team where he thinks it needs improving,so you have to say it's gone great.

They didn't. Not one of the first team squad that smashed Brum started in the Leeds game. You can't complain though as you did the exact same thing to Oxford
