Are you against having a supporters trust in principle, or against this one because you disagree with the way it operates? Do you think it would be improved by more people like yourself joining?

    No, just playing the percentages.
If it looks like it's dead and it smells like it's dead (which it does) chances are it ain't alive.

Time to forget about it and move on in my view. There's a league to compete in and as usual we aren't ready.
Most of our promotion rivals have changed half their squads. It's going to be a crazy season.

I'm a knocked of the trust at the moment, but as someone has already mentioned anyone one of us could put ourselves up for election.
I don't have a clue but I wonder how many members went to the last trust AGM.

How many people are moaning about the trust at the moment, and how many will go to the AGM to do something about it.

    Unfortunately not.
I tend to drink too much at the beer meetings and start slurring my words.

We’d welcome a Millwall fan standing - even you. You can talk about how to expand a fan base from a low ebb <whistle>

That's easy - all you need to do is send a Belgium agent to your closest rivals and watch as the rats jump overboard and head your way.

We can top that - back in 2006 our own Chairman thought it would be a great idea to sign a boot-faced wally of a manager from another local rival <doh>
That has got to be the dumbest thing he ever did.

I went to the last one. Anyone can go, there were about 25 or so in The Bugle Horn. It was a good meeting, Steve Avery was there, he spoke about his career at Charlton, and took questions. I don't know why the turnout was so poor, it was well advertised to the 1100 members, and it only costs a fiver to join. Unlike CARD it's a democratic organisation. They hold periodic surveys to find out the fans' views on various matters, which usually feature on CL.
Factually Incorrect. Anyone can join, I wish more fans would, easy as falling off a log.

Really don't see why this is such a biggie. As Clb74 and Forest say, joining is easy, and everyone gets a vote. If you don't join and don't vote, it's not really a surprise if they don't represent wht you think.

If you pay your 5 pounds then you can turn up to the AGM you can vote in a person on to the board plus the other way around.
