I'd actually heard of this one. I'd be quite pleased if we sign him - he's a decent player... Not if it's as our main goal threat though. He's pacey so probably moving down the list from Plea. He'd cost around £14million apparently, so not quite a freebie but probably within our cheap-assed price range (as long as we sell Mitro).
Yeah, agreed. Muto though is good enough that he's been attracting attention from the Chelsea's and Man Utd's of the world in recent seasons.
Japan are ranked 61 in the world and he's played in pretty much all of their internationals within the last 18 months. Should be a formality.
I know people aren’t keen on Rondon but he suits Rafa. So does Muto. If we replace Mitrovic and Gayle with those two we’ve massively improved our squad. You have two players the manager wants as opposed to one, and you’ve upgraded Gayle too. Not sure why people are so unhappy. We are giving the manager what he wants. Of course he’d have liked the French lad but you won’t get all your transfer targets.
Nothing we can do about that, Rafa just isn’t committed to the cause the way we’d all like. He talks about loyalty and passion but he’s just like any other, looking for a better move.
He’s done his bit to be fair. The contract is there. Offered three alternative lengths I believe. Rafa just doesn’t fancy it as we can’t compete with top clubs.
