He is OUT FOR 3 MONTHS!!!!! So the season just got better..... Trust me gentlemen, this is true.... I wonder why the club is keeping tight lipped?
Where did you get this? If it's true it's a massive blow as ramsey is not starting material right now despite his obvious talent. We need to get a top mid signed b4 close, surely Wenger will sort it out now if the above is true! Pretty bad state of affairs though that we are so reliant on a 19 year old who has only come through his breakthrough season...
The truth will come out eventually (or until Wilshere twitters)....Seriously though, it will be interesting to see how injury free Nasri and Cesc are after they have left us......Maybe our players train on an army artilary range or something?!?!
Precisely my thought, that we are so reliant on a 19 year old who has just come through his break through season...... How did we get to this? I guess I have only been a fan for 24yrs or so, I am sure some old uns in the forum will be able to tell me, they have witnessed this at our club before! But hey we have brand spanking new stadium, shame about the team though!
Nasri's injury record was not too bad with us, Fab should be ok, as I think players are well protected out there, no agricultural tackles from the likes of Stoke/Bolton/Blackburn in Spain I do not think.
These injuries that never quite clear up/return date always put back = tend to have a habit of putting players out for months/seasons. We had it with TV last year. I dont expect wilshire to play much this year.
It wasn't good either. I think he missed large chunks of the first 2 years with injury for us. He only really came good last season and then he got injured and went missing, same for Cesc.
Plus most the spainish sides dont try vs real and barca and try to avoid suspensions for their more important games. There is no point competing with clubs who turnover is so much larger than anyone else in the league. It really is remarkable. It would be like man utd being in a division with a league full of burnleys
For example, the latest league table shows that aston villas turnover is over 10% above that of valencia
So you think things were never this bad? On the old 606 forum, I hear a lot of fans say the 70s until George Graham came aboard in the 80s was pretty dire.... We have a lot of reason to be grateful to Arsene Wenger....
Really?? That bad, close to getting relegated as well, sure the football must have been terrible as well! I guess I shall try not to complain no more!
But we are a bigger fish than we were then, Wenger being a major reason for this of course, we are one of the biggest clubs in Europe now on turnover, staying top 4,5,6 would be bare min requirements for any manager of a club like ours and also to win an occasional trophy. Things are not that bad, I still think we will get top 4 this year with a bit more luck and some of the signings being brought in.
I guess there was no waiting list as long as your arm then...... Hope we never go back to those days!
Source? Because as of yet despite being asked you have not actually said where you got this info from.
