Lorraine MacIntosh was gorgeous back i the day....I went to see Deacon Blue in the Beirkellar in Bristol, and ended up drinking in the bar across the road with band before they went on stage....
Then came Bobby G, with one of my favourite albums. When Screamadelica was released it opened up a whole new world of music, truly ground-breaking....
I love that track and it's my wife's absolute favourite. I saw them at Hyde Park just after 7/7 and when they played it I phoned her (she couldn't go), so that she could hear it. She told me she cried.
Loved REM, they were one of the first bands I saw live, supported U2 at MK Bowl in 85 (along with The Ramones - what a gig). Seen them a couple of times since, they were awesome when they headlined Loch Lomond....Unfortunately there's no decent footage of that gig. Of all their albums (have most of them on CD), Green was my favourite.....with this my favourite track....
