It would take pressure of the SE for housing and transport and help regenerate the NE.

Of course it would also mean the lying, cheating, in-fighting, self interested arrogant load of bastards would be as far away from me as it is possible to get them.

To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER EVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP. NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN. NEVER GONNA RUN AROUND AROUND AND DESERT YOU. NEVER GONNA MAKE YOU CRY. NEVER GONNA SAY GOODBYE. NEVER GONNA TELL A LIE AND HURT YOU.

I don´t think Cameron had any ideals, let alone any ideas on the conduct of being a Prime Minister!! The next election will certainly tell us if you are correct, but with the Conservative policy covering any emerging right-wing party, there is no chance of a far-right party getting any seats.

I think Ukip are finished as a political force but would hope that any members now adhering to the Conservatives will make them less appealing to voters. It is a fascinating scenario and I think that people will under-estimate Corbyn who I predict will also erode support in Scotland for SNP. The only failing of Labour so far is understanding how to respond to Brexit and it is disappointing that they have not channelled their energies in to making the European parliament more democratic as a governing institution and sought to minimise the impact of capitalism on the populace. If they could galvanise left-wing support in Europe for other socialist parties, they would help create a better model for the EU. It is a shame that they sit on the fence just waiting for the Tories to monumentally screw up. I think the people in the UK want more as opposed MPs who are anti-Brexit to pining for the return of the status quo. Should Corbyn get in, it will be a wake up call for left wing parties in Europe who will be emboldened by a successful socialist government in the UK,

I thought that their membership was on the increase due to how Brexit is being handled. I know nothing of the leader, but if they have a strong leader that Ukip supporters can get behind then they cause some upsets. They need a Farage type of person who looks for a fight and does not back down, both May and Corbyn come across as weak and not willing to fight the EU. You may not like their views, but your average Jo Blog on the street may relate to Ukip more than the other parties.

Don´t you miss the good old days when New Labour won three elections on the bounce? It is a pity that such an attractive political ideal is now history. Once Mrs May has delivered "Brexit" the Conservatives will undoubtedly look for a new leader untarnished by association with Brexit, and begin the process of going towards the centre ground again (which is undoubtedly to the right compared with Major´s Government.

I certainly don’t miss Blairism, which ran Thatcherism close as an unpleasant ideology.

I used to have a really good working relationship with a probation worker in the new forest, which as we were dealing with heroin and cocaine addicts was very much needed. She predicted everything that has happened over the last few years, as she took early retirement to avoid it.

Within months my "contact" at probation was a chap on the phone who'd never even met the clients I was attempting to help.

They were bloody warned about what would happen but were (are) happy to sacrifice all to open up to private sector companies.

I actually preferred Thatcherism to Blairism, because at least Maggie was honest...a total monster at times, but you knew exactly what you were getting with Thatch. Blair was despicable in how he used and subverted any remaining vestiges of socialism in the Labour party to further his own political and nest feathering ambitions.
