£65m for a 19 year old!? The world's gone mad, I tell you! Chelsea are in talks with Borussia Dortmund over a possible move for 19-year-old America winger Christian Pulisic, who would be available for £65m.
Love that when he joined Galaxy he put a full page add in the LA Times that simply stated..... ...You're welcome!
He’s already an outstanding player, and he gets better every season. He is going to be one of the worlds best. In this market, I think 65M is ok for him.
What do we reckon to yellow and red cards for managers from this season (but not in the PL?) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45025794
Does ANYONE believe that that would ever apply in the 'Holy Grail' of the PL???? In essence, I think it's a good idea IF used properly!! #iliveinhope
Derby pretty much out of the hunt now after Leeds have signed Bamford (in a deal worth up to £10m) so they won't be getting any income from selling Vydra (unless someone else wants to blow a load of cash on him) Ironically with Boro also being linked during the summer, they're now favourites to sign Waghorn. We've put £8m - £10m price on his head as we don't need (nor want) to sell. With all the silly fees going around I think we've played a good hand on this one as if someone wants him, we'll be making some tidy profit.. If they don't then he's professional enough to get stuck into the season and contribute. Waghorn was one of the most underrated players last season. I know I am biased having watched him more than pretty much any other championship players, but to be the only player in the league to make double figures in goals scored (16) and assists (12) he was statistically the most effective attacking player in the league last season... And for a pretty average team as well. Vydra is an odd one as Derby fans don't seem to rate him. He contributes very little in the overall game but is a great finisher. Plenty of Derby fans have also mentioned he disappears for large parts of games and struggles with physical defenders.. They even described him as a younger (and quicker) Jordan Rhodes
Thanks for the info Scowey I seem to recall a few of your posters moaning about Waghorn and not impressed with him I probably read it wrong
