Do you honestly think their number one priority & intention, when re-engaging with the BBC, was to please the customer?
Methinks Syd has been gushing positively in his podcast about the Allams turning the corner. But premature, if so.
I'm not particularly fussed what their priority or intention was, it made me happy, so I'm happy they did it. I'm happy they are running Tigers TV, regardless of their clearly insidious intentions. I'm happy they've put out a smart kit early, and have begun moving the branding back to Hull City. If they can finish that before the season begins, make genuine strides to concessions, and changing the badge, that's all I'm after at this point.
Not really sure why people's go-to seems to be to have a pop about a podcast. Odd. I'm sorry for trying to be happy about some good news. How dare I!
Who are they making happy? See Ben's post and add this the Hull City.com is owned by someone who is reluctant to sell, not enough supporters voted in the dodgy ballots, did you see that **** they put out regarding the badge? And for a supporter to get near being selected to get on the badge committee they had to provide details of 25 other's who backed their nomination.
The people who wanted Burnsy back? The International supporters who can now watch every game? Yeah it was ridiculous, I don't disagree. That's why I said IF the badge is properly reinstated, then that would be good. All I'm talking about at this stage is that Burnsy being back is good.
Well I don't know about anyone else but I'm quite happy with the Allams now and don't mind if they stay.
No need for a “Badge Committee”. It’s a delaying tactic. His words - I’ve agreed to bring back the badge” There is a simple action to this statement & it requires no meetings, no discussions, no committees. It requires **** all, except for a man to keep his word. Liars, cheats, conmen, bullies. #AllamOut nothing else matters.
I’m sure that your happiness is a consequence of them saving money. They, at no time, tried to make you or any other fan happy.
I have a feeling bringing Burnsy back and creating Tigers TV haven't saved them money.. I accept the general point that they'll always be doing things to ultimately benefit themselves, but if it benefits us along the way even in small ways, I'm going to try and take the positives out of a situation. Otherwise what's the point?
I have no issue with Burns as a broadcaster. He's an excellent local DJ. As you say, he's not a football commentator, and adding Swan into the mix just makes it a whole lot worse. I really don't understand why some people are treating him like the returning messiah.
The only possible good they could ever do is leave, what remains of our club, to others more responsible. They’ve purposely ripped the heart & soul out of a football club for no other reason than they being vindictive, childish, grudge-bearing, resentful, incapable morons. For that reason all they ever do will never be positive or make me happy. Even when they leave the work needed to restore what they've purposely destroyed will break many. Think of being a landlord & renting your house out to some new tenants who unknown to you are scum. They pay the rent but behind the scenes they’re ripping your property apart. You can see it but can’t do anything because the rent’s being paid. Eventually they leave, you’re happy, until you walk in & access the mess they’ve left behind. **** them, they’re scum. Happy? For what? Harold Shipman gave some of his patients the right prescriptions, should we be happy?
Did you hear Viking's coverage? I'm not saying Burnsy is all that amazing, but Christ he's like the commentary equivalent of Mozart compared to that shower of ****e from last season.
Well having suffered the Viking commentaries last season .. the lack of passion, the inability to identify our players, the inability to actually describe the action happening before them I for one are immensely glad Burnsy is back. He not only is able to describe what's happening on the pitch he adds some passion for it instead of the monotone crap that Viking served up. I would however consider Brian Hughes as replacement for Swanny.. the man did impart some very interesting views and obviously reads the game well.
