The final day of the transfer window has arrived. Who do you think will be coming and going before the window slams shut? (it never closes quietly!) Will Celtic sign another striker and centre back? A new left back maybe? Have Rangers got any surprise signings up their sleeve? Will they be able to hold on to their star forward and midfield linchpin? Events today could have a big say in where the SPL title ends up. Gonna be a long day I suspect.
I bet nothing much happens anyway. Rangers will hold on to their key players and both clubs will probably bring in a player each on loan.
rangers are apparently willing to sell jelavic for £9mil. why? selling him will cost rangers much more than that. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/14728339.stm
Double money in one year is the only sence behind that one. You'd be crazy to sell though - as you'll struggle to get anyone in that late in the day
Maloney is travelling down to Wigan to finalise the deal. I Liked Maloney when he came through the ranks at Celtic. Had the makings of a really good player. Injures and bad decisions (leaving too early to join Villa for one) have stalled his career. Hope it works for him down south.
Morning lads could somebody tell me more about shaun maloney 1 million to us how do you tihnk he will be are you sad to lose him ect cheers
wigan Good player on his day. Unfortuntaly, those days are few and far between now. Been blighted with injuries for most of the last few seasons which has severly hindered his career. If he can stay injury free he could be a valuable member of the squad but I suspect he'll play six games then be out for three or four months with injury. That's the usual pattern.
Not too sad. His stature is a problem - even in a team of midgets, he sticks out as exceptionally hobbit-like. Takes a good free kick (if given enough chances) and probably plays better through the middle rather than on the wing. I don't think he'll be in your first eleven but be an impact sub for a few games and then be injured for a couple of months
Queens Park Rangers and Wolves have enquired about the availability of Celtic striker Gary Hooper, reports BBC Sport's Chris McLaughlin. teehee
