Lots of questions about Neves amd Moutinho but if they do click then it's a quality pairing, Jota also looks good and the full back Douglas. I wont be surprised if they do well but same goes for if they have an average season.
Douglas won't be in the team, they've just signed Jony from Atletico who is very good. Neves and Jota are the obvious stand outs who anybody who watches much European football will have heard of. They never should've ended up in Wolves but Jorge Mendes. Neves was being touted as the best young midfielder in Europe when he was captaining Porto at 18. If they can start well I think they will be top 10, maybe as high as 7th. Can't underestimate the feel good factor around the club atm and as long as they don't get tonked in a few of the early games then I can see them doing well.
I reckon they'll smash it. Unfortunately for them, Liverpool are going to smash it more... 1. Liverpool 2. Wolves 3. Burnley .. .
Strange one that, they must just think he wont make the grade in the PL. 14 ASSISTS AND 5 GOALS FROM FULL BACK LAST SEASON.
He is like Danny Fox when we went up. Is fine as a set piece specialist when you have a team good enough to carry him as defensively he is poor.
He was very good for us in the championship as we battered most teams but like you say woefully out of his depth in the PL.
He was still **** in the Championship whenever he came across a half decent winger. Good delivery on him but a tragic defender. Also cost me £10k so I ****ing hate the ****
Before the season started I had a stray £20 in my betting account and in a pissed up stroke of genius put it on Lambert being top scorer and Saints winning the league as a double, from memory return was about 10k. We would have won the league if not for **** Fox trying hollywood balls across the back four in the 2nd or 3rd last game where we lost to Reading 3-1, 2 of the goals being completely his fault. Reading over took us after that result and won the league.
Ah you're like me and hold a grudge lol, I've still never used Skybet since their website crashed on me during the FA Cup final in 2012.
... get back in the sun, fella ... PS scientists have discovered that beef dripping is the most effective sun screen out there ... remember to apply liberally and occasionally top up
True buddy ... Totteringhan will likely be more occupied with Fulham and Palace ... who we won't really be bothered about
