yes i like my job. it pays well, and the people I work with. have you started this thread as you don't like your job ? or are you about to have a midlife crisis and go out and buy a motorbike
That's great, mate. I've been self-employed for around 12 years, now. It's my second stint. I love it. I get to work from home, as well as from office space, when I need to. My quality of life is unrecognisable to what it used to be, when I was chasing the dragon's tail of employed hard-labour, making others rich. I couldn't go back to being employed. I've never grown up, mate. Age is just a number. I've always loved learning, and I have never stopped wanting to learn. It keeps me alive, and it keeps me interested in life and people.
That’s strange. When you revealed your identity, a google search brought up the Law Society. Your sole practitioner practice was registered at your home address in an estate on the outskirts of Poole. However you told Stan that you rarely worked from home
I have had my own legal practice for around 12 years, acting for a select handful of developer clients. It is not the only thing I do. Over the years, I have been winding that side of my life down and concentrating on other things. And my house is not on an estate.
Sorry, a "Close" in Broadstone, and looks like an area of soulless new builds. But fair enough: anyone who can work from home with three noisy children in a small house gets thumbs up from me. Especially living there since March 2000, according to Zoopla. You would have thought your family would have outgrown the 'close' after 18 years. Doesn't the supermod wife deserve an upgrade after 18 years.... surely you can afford somewhere new??? After 18 years surely a hotshot lawyer would have paid off a modest 200k house by now, and moved somewhere grander....
It's a 'close' not an estate. Broadstone, the area, was a small village until 1840, it has now become a grim suburban sprawl adjoining Poole. People live there because they want to be near Sandbanks but can't afford it
Detached 5 bed houses round my way go for £500k, these days. Nothing by London standards, but decent for these parts. A double garage, with enough space on the drive to park 4 more. The back garden could be bigger, but it backs onto the neighbour’s wooded area, and is very quiet. We are on the side of a valley. My music studio looks down towards Poole Harbour. A short walk away is the Upton Country Park, a nature reserve, that is host to several rare species of salt marsh animals and insects. One of vantage point views looking over the South Eastern edge offers an unbelievable panarama of Poole and its harbour, a mere 4 miles away. I know it’s too quiet for some, but we and my two boys love it. The thing that puzzles me is why you should take such a keen interest in any of this?
You live in a lovely part of the World mate, whilst your place might not be quite the kind of thing you suggested it was, it’s far from something to be ashamed of either. I don’t get his obsession with it, particularly given I’m sure he said he currently rents himself.
Just because he was giving it the biggun about his lifestyle, which is very modest in reality. Yes, been renting for three years now. £2,016 a month for small 2-bedroom flat.... money not particularly well spent!
So ****ing what? This was done months ago and yet half your posts seem to be about hiag you sad old ****.
