    I will happily wipe him off it. Stoke with Jerome and Bentdner up front. I would rather have Ba and Best!!!

    I think the pleasurable shock of seeing Santon sign was a boost for us all, but, without wanting to dampen the optimism, the striking area is the key department. Signing some turd stick like Cole would counteract the steal that was Davide. Here's hoping we aren't disappointed.

    Couldn't disagree more! granted we need a striker, but i actually rate best, i think ba will come good and shola is always a reliable back up!!

    If we had not brought in a left back we would have been in trouble this season by a lot of average teams, it would not take long for raylor to be sussed out. he is a very average fotballer who can whip in the odd freekick, but dont be kidding yourself that he was the answer to our left back problem.

    I don't think we'll get anyone. Someone from NUFC called mr craig from skysports at 430 am to let them know he's at work. Very much 'appease the fans' tactics again. So lame.

    UNITED TOON - I wasn't saying we didn't need a left back, Santon is an important signing, however I do think we are weak up top. 3 goals in 3 games is hardly blistering and we struggled for long periods against fulham. However we only conceded 1 in those games, which indicates we were decent defensively.

    We need pace up top and someone who is only interested in scoring. We have enough big lumps. Plus people are saying that Taylor has had a few good games but he will inevitably not be good enough, however Best does the same but yet he's going to be great.
