Don't think so, he was on the bench. The link was hard to watch.. Just checked Este, he was an unused sub..
So again, for those who saw the game, did anyone stand out or look like they have forced their way into contention for the start of the season?
He hasn’t been given a shirt number has he? I need to double check... Edit... Has not been issued a shirt number On another notable note, Hernandez played 90 minutes of our first friendly of the season and hasn’t featured since.
Short highlights of Guiseley v Leeds. No confidence in that Blackman, send him back. Klich looks like, and it sounds like he had a good game, scoring 1 and setting 1 up. Could it be he's started to slowly come through now he's been given chances. Looks to me like Klich could be a bit of gem in midfield, he seems to know how to thread the ball through for strikers, and add a few goals himself, it's only Guiseley, but you still got to beat players.
Rad will be delighted that he is even getting people to pay for the low fields road concourse to be resurfaced after northern gas networks had to dig it up.Truly there is one born every minute. But if spunkijng your cash makes you happy.
A better winger than our bleached haired Macedonian (actually he has dispensed with the blonde posy look) Very impressed with Jack
Defensively were were awful ! Klich & Clarke were very impressive Klich totally controlled our midfield, on last night's evidence he is probably the best passer of a football we have in the squad Blackburn made two or three decent saves & controls his area, a keeper that actually catches a cross All three should be considered for the matchday squad For those who say we were only playing Guiseley, do you remember some experienced players making a right balls of it at Histon, Sutton & Newport
From The 72 site Mateusz Klich – 8 – T72MOM – The best player on the park last night. The defence struggled and the scoreline tells you the game was close but it wasn’t really. Leeds controlled much of it and Klich drove the side forward, passing was brilliant, a goal and an assist and just in general a classy performance. He and Kalvin Phillips will go head to head for the deep role this season, Klich is well in with a shout. Jack – Clarke – 7 – Clarke was one of the best players on the park last night, only behind the oozing ability of Klich. His ability to weave past players became a theme of the game and he was involved in everything good Leeds did. The youngster to watch under Marcelo Bielsa.
Thanks for this, LL. Missed the match last night. Based only on these highlights, surely De Cock has ruled himself out of ever playing for Leeds again? I blame him for their second & third. Wasn't overly impressed with his positioning & demeanour for the first either.
