    Says he wants a move to a premier league team and we have been actively been after him for ages.

    Totally sounds like a come and get me plea

    Better option than Crouch

    Agreed would be much much happier spending 10m on him than Crouch. At 29 he is still only worth a 3 year contract but a much better prospect than Crouch.

    If he's suggesting it aswell, seems hes more keen to come to the North East than Crouch and his Mrs!

    He's still only a 1 in 3 striker with modric, VDV and co all supplying him. I honestly wonder whether he has much more goalscoring ability than gyan.

    As a Spurs fan he honestly isn't. As soon as I heard he wanted a move I smiled because the sooner we can get rid the better. He's lazy got a poor conversion rate and offers nothing in a match if his head isn't right, which seems to be 80% of the time.

    Sorry to burst the bubble guys, but if you are going to pick up one of Crouch or Pav you'd be better off with Crouch, or even better off with Cisse.

    I think the stumbling block with all Sunderland fans is the Price with no sell on value we all think it is too much also its well known Crouch does not want to come here (or should i ay Abi does'nt stuck up cow) now Cisse i would take
