Of course it would be great to win Promotion, plus it would be even better if we could add a Cup or two. But realistically, I would be pleased if we: - finally closed-out the FFP saga - finally started to build a proper training centre at Warren Farm As to the football: - competitive, intelligent and entertaining football - continual progress throughout the season with genuine competition for places - a top half position by Christmas, with a potential chance to reach the top 6 with a good end-of-season run-in ....plus a good QPR+ stream.
I trust l’m not asking for too much. Just a striker or two kick the season off. Overall, l’d like to see some steady improvement over the season. Not a ‘nothing’ season like the last two. Not asking for promotion, as mentioned, just steady improvement.
I’d like to see Washington out on loan scoring goals and growing in confidence so he can come back a good striker. If his name is on the team sheet for the first game I know it’s going to be a tough season. I also hope whoever ends up in goal makes the step up and becomes a clean sheet specialist!
Not only Washignton, but I would alo add Wheeler. Plus, I hope that all our youngester improve: Eze, Chair, Smyth, Kakay, BOS, ....the list just goes on!
Someone willing to buy out Fernandes' consortium who understands football and economics. I doubt there will be any real progress until FFP is sorted and we get someone in who has a 3-4 year plan . One which he will stick to.
I'd like someone other than Chelsea or Mourinho's United, or City (who have basically just bought success) to win the league. Basically, I'd like Liverpool to win it. I'd like a semi boring year for QPR, with FFP sorted and approaching the end the season with no worries of relegation and no hope of promotion which will only end in disappointment. I'd like people in Paris to stop going on about the World Cup, and asking me if I enjoyed the World Cup, with smirks on their faces.
Now that I have $10 on it the only thing that matters is promotion That and not getting relegated And a cup run And new stadiums etc And no more ffp And and and
You forgot to mention, the new training facility............. that's been coming since Jesus was a lad.
Of the realistic options available, a win at Brentford would be nice. God, how the mighty have fallen, that I would be satisfied with that! A win at Forest also but not going there again, after last season's debacle.
Difficult to top the incredible highs of our 2017/18 campaign. I think we were twelfth at one point and even managed a three match unbeaten streak.
A decent cup run and top ten finish would be good. If England managed to break the penalty jinx then hopefully we can break our FA cup jinx
For Steve to get us playing progressive, possession based good football and our new No10, Eze, to rip up the league.
If he has a good year this season doubtless he will be gone next. Just the way it is, unless we at some stage get serious about promotion and decide to hold on to talent that other clubs are prepared to pay for.
