Or another take is those fans are a shame on the club and the region as a whole. The best solution would be to be put them in a big forest and set the edges on fire.
The Mitrovic situation is becoming a farce - if the link below is right. Who is this guy- and is his info reliable? http://www.nufcblog.com/2018/07/25/newcastle-may-not-be-able-to-sell-mitrovic-this-summer/
Given what’s just happened in Greece I think this comment is offensive and unacceptable. Please have some respect for people!
Or you could say they were facts and not Free-dor fiction. Ignore the end comments and indicate which parts of it were non factual and biased. I double dog dare’s ya.
We have as much chance of influencing Khan as you have influencing Ashley,so we have two CEO's behaving like a pair of rutting stags, locking antlers over a transfer that should have been one of the simpler transactions this window. Instead it has become a convoluted tale that would not be out of place in an Agatha Christie novel. We now have a situation where Mitrovic is effectively persona non grata. Has he turned up at Benton for pre-season training? Has he turned up at Motspur Park for a medical? Who knows? It has to be in the interests of both clubs to resolve this protracted impasse - we because we need the player and you because you need the cash. Could Charnley sign off on the deal without Ashley's approval?
Charnley can't replace the teabags without Ashley, though directly Justin Barnes', approval. I agree it's a farcical situation, but between us we have two of the biggest Billy Big Bollocks in the football world. Yours is swinging his testes around trying to hawk Wembley to the yanks, ours is doing....well, what he's done for a decade; acting the big man in sales, then the big prick in buying.
At last a fee has been agreed - but what was the point in flying him out to Portugal? On the point of payment I suggested that Ashley wanted payment in instalments this seems to be the case judging by the following extract from the NUFC blog The £20M – or whatever the fee is – will help Rafa bring in another striker – thought to be Salomon Rondon from West Brom – although it’s unlikely Newcastle will get the full £20M in cash this summer. It will likely be paid over three or four years via instalments. How will this work if you have to sell to buy? One other bit of info. We are in the box seat to sign Alfie Mawson hope this is true. apparently offered 25 mil for him.
It will work in that the money won't be in the bank now so Rafa won't get it now. It's another tactic Ashley is using to not spend money. We are actually asking clubs to pay in instalments, rather than the other way around.
That it's tactically used to reduce spending, basically it is unusual for a club to only pay up front but encourage everyone else to pay in installments. So next year we will be spending the summer being told we can't buy until we sell whilst everyone's asking where the Sissoko and Mitro money has gone.
Papers today carrying reports that we actually wrote to Spanish FA on eve of World Cup offering them the use of Rafa Benitez. If true why would we do that? No inference it was at the request of Rafa so what would the club possibly gain apart from possibly 1 month wages. More likely to unsettle him particularly if he did well there. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/996801/Newcastle-letter-Rafael-Benitez-Spain-World-Cup
