It does seem Emery/Minislat are lookimg at WF's so. Personally I wanna see..

    Sold:

    Perez
    Mustafi
    Wellbeck
    Jenkinson
    Elneny
    Akpom
    Campbell
    Ospina

    Buy:

Benantia - Because of his age would be one of the cheapest top class CBs we could bring in. Short term option but the guy is excellent.

Dembele/Coman - Looking at alot of money to bring in Dembele but we could do with a signing like this. Some pace and skill alongside Aubameyang feeding on passes from Mkhi and Ozil.<ok>

    --------------------------Leno--------------------------
    Bellerin-----Sokratis-----Benatia-----Kolasinac
    -----------------Torreira------Xhaka------------------
    ----Dembele-----------Ozil-----------Mkhitarian---
    ---------------------Aubamayang-----------------------

Subs: Cech, Koscielney, Lacazette, AMN, Ramsey, Guendouzi.

    That's an exciting team.

since a hard preseason cannot leave you "****ed" 8 months later your post makes no sense at all.
oh and even if correct i'd still rather watch us play than you come what may.

Find it amusing how any Man U fan can justify the shower of **** that Maureen serves up. I guess they are suffering enough so there is no need to take the mickey.

If the rumour about Iwobi being offered a new deal is true, then fair play to Emery!!!!

I really want to see how he develops under him.

Yep, I’m a big fan of iwobi. He’s not the finished article yet, but he’s always a danger when he plays. If Emery can coach him to the next level and improve his finishing, then we will have a really sharp player on our hands.

Good call for keeping him. Still young and hasn't reached his potential yet.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Emery can do to a lot of our players after they've all endured so many years of not being coached. But if he can make anything out of Iwobi I'll be the most impressed because Iwobi is complete dogshit at football.

    You can't polish a turd...

Not sure why so many want iwobi to stay. I don’t think he’s good enough, no matter who coaches him.

Wow... I'll enjoy watching some you eat you words. He's got all the tools to be a top class #10. Runs at players, can pick a pass, can work in tight spaces, quick, strong... He's shooting needs a lot of work which will come. His decision making will get better. A bad season where the whole team/club was shocking doesn't make him a turd. One incident of him caught partying, and everyone is on his back. When Jack was getting caught smoking, I don't remember this level vitriol towards him. I have a feeling him choosing to play for Nigeria has something to do with the hate he gets.

He is a young player, one of ours! He's an Arsenal boy that could do bits for us for years. He WILL come good.

I think we need to hold off until Emery makes a proper assessment of all the players. Him and Wenger are very different managers and whatever Wenger missed might be picked up by Emery. Who knows, players that looked poor under Wenger might get a new lease of life with a new manager and direction.

If he comes good then great. But I can't see it as he's simply never shown any potential. He wasn't poor last season....he's just been mediocre ever since he first appeared for us.

And this because he has chosen Nigeria, are you having a laugh? He's average at dribbling, not great pace, average at passing and disgraceful at shooting.

If he comes good then great, we've got an increeiblde coach on our hands. But no-one is a miracle worker.

I have an announcement boys and girls. We have found the antagonist to Toledo!.

If Iwobi doesn't have "Great pace", i'd hate to think what you think of most of your team and most of the professional league <laugh>

Actually I think you may have found one of the few things cini and I agree on. I wouldn't have put it quite as strongly as him or been as critical of the player directly, but Iwobi did play poorly last year and he does seem to have lost a step or two. I don't remember him being slow when he first made the squad, but perhaps he got a bit complacent under Wenger?

Anyway, I am happy for all our players to be given a new chance under the new coach, I would say Emery's regime and system is different enough for all bets to be off on how any one player will perform, but IMO Iwobi seems perhaps to be less well-equipped to make the improvement required, than some of our other players.

Having said that, if he comes good, I would be absolutely delighted.

he's pretty pacy imo. He might not be that quick dribbling with the ball (although he's no slouch either)

Not arguing the rest of the about the rest of his attributes though

edit: obviously he's not Walcott or PEA or even Bellerin but those 3 boys are the quickest there are around

Damn that was a very good goal. He took it forward really well, dribbled well at good pace, the link up play with Ramsey and finish was excellent.
