How many players will we sign today? (Poll)

Just a quick post to see how many players people think we will sign today:

Options are:
None
One
Two or more

I reckon One is most likely (42%), with Two or more slightly more likely as second fav (31%), than None (27%).

What does everyone else think? If you're going to guess, please try to do it by say 11am as obviously the later we go into the day the more this will probably change one way or t'other.

I'm going for One, but I reckon I'll be less surprised than most if we do sneak a second in also.

I honestly dont think we will sign anyone, think we went for our targets earliar in the summer, missed out on them for whatever reason (price/wages/opted for another club) and we now won't rush through a signing who was about 3rd/4th/5th on our list of who we wanted.

Only was I can see us signing someone is if the price for some of our original targets drop, or we sign someone we havent been linked to at all.

I would be most surprised if we sign anyone as I agree our principal targets have been missed. I think it will be loans now and maybe a signing or two in January.

Unless of course our beloved Chairmen pulls a really surprising signing out of the bag.

Don't we normally sign a talented player from Italy about this time he says remembering Guly and Papa Waigo?

 

I expect one signing and that should be a centre-back - if we don't sign any players, i'll be dissapointed

 

I agree with others on this thread. I think our targets have been missed and there will be no signings today. I hope I am wrong, but unless we pull a rabbit out of the hat, we will end up with the squad we have at present.

 

Adkins suggested postmatch that there could be activity today. So could happen but things can fall through at last minute (as we know). Off to work now so hope there's news when I get back.

 

I would like to think at least one person will be joining the bus, but i'll be more than happy to see on Sky Sports that Puncheons gone

None today - possibly a couple of loan signings for cover - once we have see who has stayed and I think those loan moves will take place over the couple of few weeks.
