Why should he appoint a CEO, or anybody else though?
He has the Club just the way he wants it - without any leadership and just about able to function day-to-day. He can keep cutting costs as much as he likes until next season, when the player wage bill drops about 80%.
RD is beginning to close CAFC down. He's just doing it very slowly.

I think you are right about a CEO Lardi. Something has now changed though. It has leaked out that a takeover is now very unlikely in the next month and a bit, at the earliest. Thats not just coming from Camp Kangaroo. Myself and @DickPlumb were told this from a totally separate source last week, well before the ITKs.
There must come a point where not having a CEO costs RD money in terms of running Charlton on a day to day basis, although if that CEO turns out to be as useless as Meire, maybe not.

The whole thing has become an absolute shambles, its very worrying for long term fans only concerned about the welfare of the club.

One thing that I am curious about (not wumming)
You squad is down to the bare bones and most of the staff have been axed.
How on God's earth are you still losing £1M per month?

As a known associate of mine. I would prefer it if you respected our NDA when we meet for a beer at Accrington.

Very odd that Elliott Ward is playing v Brighton tonight ?

He can’t feel that motivated after Bowyer said after the Welling game he wasn’t getting a contract <doh>

    Elliot Ward
    Simon Dawkins
    Rohan Ince

If Charlton sign these three and Lee Bowyer tries to convince fans they are the "better quality" players he was talking about securing to make our squad stronger than last season, he will only show himself up to be a bigger fool than Karl Robinson.

Bowyer has enjoyed a huge amount of respect and admiration since he took the job of caretaker manager.
That respect and admiration is now turning to sympathy and pity. "Poor bloke, stuck in the middle of this mess" etc.
LB has gone from hero to victim in a couple of months.

If Bowyer signs Ward, Dawkins and Ince and says they are the players he wanted, his status will change again.
    From victim to laughing stock.
