The situation with McLean winning us a penalty is one of the most McLean looking situations I've seen. Everything about it is just awkward as fock Lucky he got that one with him.

If this had been a question posed this time last year, I would have said the 2008 vintage Fraizer Campbell. It’s easy to forget just how influential Fraizer was that season, he was often unplayable. Then we signed him and he’s not quite what we remembered (although we saw flashes under Slutsky of what FC can still offer). I’m still hopeful for this season, that there are 15 goals in 30 starts in him.
Has he ever had a goal every other game ratio? Not sure he has (haven’t checked) i’d Be happy if he even managed 10 goals from 30 starts - even that’s optimistic.
Definitely a forward we could do with. Painful to say it but marlon king was excellent for three months. Shane long is a good shout. As is jelavic. But Ash is needed but I reckon he'd make some of this lot cry.
Would normally choose Ashbee in any nostalgia situation , but if talking about adding something to this squad i would choose Hernandez
Wiki says 15 from 34 - ironically his best ever goals to games ratio. Somewhat dried up a bit since those halcyon days. Though his spell at Cardiff wasn’t too bad.
Billy Whitehurst, the two midgets and Will Keane we have at the moment up front are an embarrassment. Sorry Febbos, I prefer the old school centre forwards.
