The Death Penalty

A lot of talk in the press today about sending terrorists to America where they could be "put to sleep".

Where do GCers stand on this issue? I can more or less guess who's for it and who's agin it. If you are in favour of it what crimes should it be used for?

Don't give a ****e what happens to people I don't know.

 

If it's 100% proven then yes, for some crimes, i'd be happy with it being brought back. I'm quite left when it comes to politics but quite right when it comes to punishment.

 

Sending them to America should suffice as punishment IMHO

I'm against the death penalty but if the Yanks want to blue juice these two c.unts I'm not about to start waving banners outside the prison.

Is there not a third option other than the death penalty or life in prison? How about something where you get to stay alive but you get f.ucked up a bit? Nothing life threatening but certainly life changing. The public could vote for it in an Britain's Got Talent for Vengeance sort of show. Make a few quid selling tickets which could go to the victim's families.

The death penalty should be reintroduced for people who use “literally” and “obviously” as sentence fillers.
