Oh that is sooooo old news for real ITKs (like me) . So FYI : Toby filmed on his phone the "heroes' welcome" the DOF got from the squad after that article in The Sun was published, and has been threatening to post it on social media.
I don't understand what any of this means, but i think i want to. What director of football got a heroes welcome and why was Toby filming it? And why would that mean he is in trouble?
why would he spill the beans (if he left) if he did something worse than Rose did? ...tbh I am bored of Toby and Rose.
Whatever it is predates that. Supposedly, the re-opening of communication comes at Toby's desire. If he apologises, maybe MP will see that we're better off with him than without.
Yeah - Rose saying that he wanted Spurs to bring in players he didn't have to Google to identify...... we nicknamed him DoF as a result....
A poster on another website didn't want to post the details of Toby's misdeeds whilst Toby was still at the club - keeping it in-house whilst it is still possible for bridges to be rebuilt. It seems that this is not a view shared by all. Some prefer to get all the dirty laundry out and parade it about a bit. Personally, if MP thinks it can be repaired, I'll go with that. I hope it can but if it can't, so be it. As for the DoF, he isn't going anywhere this summer, so we'll just have to hope he's fit.
It wouldn't surprise me if him trying to curry favour with the fans by cheering us on via social media throughout his injury/banishment every chance that he got while playing silly buggers behind the scenes is another mark against him. Problem is the LevyOut mob fell for it hook, line and sinker because apparently they all forgot about the last time we had a centre back publicly saying one thing to the fans while privately saying something very different - to Arsenal.
Sounds like Toby is looking to back track. Seems a little similar to the Ozil-Arsenal situation except we have more power. Was clear as day Ozil wanted out at Arsenal but seeing as no one offered him a contract, he accepted Arsenal's generous offer of a new deal because he wouldn't get better elsewhere. In Toby's case, he probably would've thought Utd or someone else would've made a satisfactory bid by now and he'd be off earning his mega new contract (and thus in the meantime probably done something to really piss Poch off). Having realised no one has so far bid and time is running out, he now knows it's completely down to him to try and rebuild bridges because the club aren't as desperate as Arsenal were thanks to the fact that; a) he still has one - possibly two - years left on his deal b) we already have a player in his position doing remarkably well in Dave Sanchez.
As for Onomah, here's Dan Kilpatrick's version... Which fails to explain how, in one of our training galleries, Onomah was in the gym and didn't appear to be carrying any signs of injury please log in to view this image
Kovacic seems the best choice of players we seem to have some chance of getting at this point, though I'd like to know more about that subject. While I have hopes for our present group of players in a 4-3-3, I'd like to see us spend big for an elite #8. If we bought no one else and kept everyone we wanted, we still wouldn't have much of a net spend after selling the players we don't want.
