    Nah, I fancy them to challenge for the 7th spot. They have signed all the players they had on loan last year on perm deals and I would fancy them against most of the bottom half of the Prem with that team. Supposedly signing Traore from Boro, Moutinho, Gelson Martins, Jonny and Joao Mario. Don't know if they will get them all, but would fancy them for a top half finish as it stands anyway

    None of those players you’ve just mentioned are top quality though, just good solid players, if they were any better than that I highly doubt they’d be signing for wolves .They will stay up with ease but can’t see them setting finishing any higher than 10th.

    I wouldn't be suprised if we exceeded a lot of Saint's fans expectations this season, there is really not a great gap from 17th to 7th and get off to a good start and we could easily be back in the top ten.
    This season is a little bit of a free hit as long as we can steer clear of a relegation battle.

    I think Saints will finish between 9th and 12th................Anything higher will be a big big bonus!!

    A few good results last season and we could have been pretty comfortable safe though and they didn't come, it's fine margins. I will go with 11th-16th.

    We were so abject under Pellegrino that i'm not taking anything from his period as manager, it's a clean slate this season for me.

    Sort out the attacking 3rd with a couple of 1st team signings and i think top 10. Otherwise i fear another struggle.

    I wouldn't be surprised if it's somewhat a case of waiting to see which players get offers. It might be that Hughes isn't too fussed between, say, Reed or Clasie, or Gallagher or Long, or McQueen or Targett, or Stephens or Bednarek. So for the time being have everyone part of the squad (as opposed to the trip to China, where a decision had clearly been made over Carrillio and Boufal), and just let nature take its course.

    The only two players who I think it is important to offload are Fraser and Davis. And that's because of their wages (in comparison to their likely game time).

    Unless Davis wants to go I would happily keep him here, hes not going to start as many games as he used to throughout the season but his experience in certain game situations is invaluable , if that wasn’t enough he’s also a pretty top bloke.
