It would allow VVD to play. Agree we shouldn't be signing him though

Well, we’ve spent £180m and recouped £12m so far. CL gave us £60m and Couthino gave us an additional £70m if you remove the VvD fee. So we’ve spent an average amount when you factor those in.....but I can’t see another signing unless we sell, if at all.

MAN UTD, LIVERPOOL MAKE PROMISE TO REAL STAR
Manchester United and Liverpool have both reportedly made promises to a Real Madrid star who wants out of the club.

Croatia international Mateo Kovacic is apparently on the summer wishlist of both United and Liv
erpool amid uncertainty over his future at Real.

    CHELSEA ACCEPT BARCELONA BID
Chelsea have accepted Barcelona’s most recent bid for star winger Willian, according to the latest reports.

Sky Italia claim that the Blues have struck a deal with the LaLiga giants which would see them receive £67.1m for the Brazil winger.

Willian is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year deal worth €40million, the report goes on to state.

The Sun stated last week that the former Shakhtar star has decided to leave Chelsea, despite Maurizio Sarri’s appointment as new boss.

They also add that the 29-year-old talked about a move to the Nou Camp with Philippe Coutinho during the World Cup in Russia this summer.

Willian has also been extensively linked with a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

Ings, Markovic (turkey) and Mingolet would be the likely candidates.

Can't find anyone to be interested Sturridge, Origi.

Also expect loans for Ojo, Chririvella and Grujic, so maybe some loan fee for them but thats unlikely. I would guess it'll just be wages paid.

If we can sell the first three, that could be one extra player, Fekir?

They’re hard players to move on....as we’ve found out over the last few years. We’re still paying for the awful transfers under Rogers and ‘the committee’. Klopp, however, has been a transfer revelation.....one more year and all of our deadwood will be gone. Amazing job really.

Klopp reveals Shaqiri and Alisson start dates

Alisson Becker will begin his Liverpool career by joining up with the squad for the training camp in France.

The goalkeeper, who completed his transfer from AS Roma on a long-term contract on Thursday, will be part of the group that departs for the continent later this month.

Meanwhile, fellow new signing Xherdan Shaqiri is set to join his new teammates in New Jersey on Tuesday.

Jürgen Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com: “Shaqiri will come the day after tomorrow directly to New Jersey and Alisson will come with Roberto Firmino and will be a part of the second camp in Evian.

“That’s good that we’ll have them all together, apart from the semi-finalists of the World Cup.”

I can see Mingolet going, he's motivated to go and to be fair he's a decent keeper (not good enough for us but still).
Markovic, only way we get rid is by accepting a huge loss, £10m at the most imo.
Ings looks likely, but again I don't think we'll get as much as we want for him.

    As for the others.
Sturridge will go next summer... to no one. Can't see us offering him another contract even if he has an amazing season, due to his injury record. However I foresee, he'll play an early league cup game or come on as a Sub and get injured again. In fact I can see him retiring in the near future (a couple of years or so). He'll have a hard time find any club next summer, alot of clubs wont be interested due to his injury record, no one will pay him high wages and he's unlikely to play for peanuts. America might be his only option.

Origi, **** knows. Transfer interest is like his general play, hot and cold.

I could see mings going as you say but i still have no idea who will want him and wages will be an issue.

markovic has one year left and is on 25k per week. he can't even get a game so I can't see anything but a free in his future.

I agree on sturridge. another free.

origi should be sellable but he did huge damage to his own career last year. his attitude stinks

Ugh, he'd be an awful pundit. Worse than Jamie 'state the bleeding obvious' Redknapp or Phil 'dull as dishwater' Neville.

I can't see him accepting pay as you play. I also can't see his ego letting him play in anything other than a Premier (top or 1st etc) division. Which is why I think the US might be his only option, provided he can improve his fitness.

Saying all that I think Retirement is most likely.

No one, no one is that desperate. He's going nowhere and he knows that.

West Brom was his last chance saloon and it went tits up.

No one in England will ever go for him. He wont drop his wage demands much lower than they are (even next summer), so most clubs wont go for him and those that can have no interest in him because of his injury record.
