For the first 20 he was one of our better players but that really isnt saying much. He looked quite lively I am more concerned about Vestegard though. I know it’s first game and we were fore warned but he is extremely slow

Back home and had my tea so calmed down (a bit) That was a truely apauling performance from most players apart from McCathy Hoedt was absolutely dreadful in all aspects compounded by his ranting at McCarthy for letting in their second goal after he got roasted. Lemina, what was that all about, just didn't try and his body language was telling a story. Assume he is off to City and has adopted the VVD method of forcing through a transfer Mo showed good potential and worked well with Charlie but most things broke down up front in the first half when the ball got to Redmand. Armstrong, well a little like Steve Davis but not as good Vested ard was good on the ball, passed well, good in the air but slow. Got roasted by the Derby second string forwards I could go on but I won't, it was too depressing
Absolutely agree with what you say. Lemina showed one piece of magic but was awful. Had to take a lot of stick from Derby fans who were around me To be fair Derby deserves it and played well
Does speak to the area where Vestergaard's lack of pace could be a real problem: in covering the errors of the rest of our slapdash back line.
I wouldent panic losing a preseason game. The problems that show themselves during preseason will be worked on in training
So this was only a friendly? And people are getting worried? Jeez. Does the Football League start a week before the Premier? So that would mean Derby are closer to a competitive game. This was some of our player’s first game with us.
