Been thinking of buying one again.

Anyone on here wear an expensive one??

    What make was it?

    What made you buy it?

    How much did you spend?

Would you buy a second hand one?

I have a couple of Dunhill watches but I don’t wear them. I also have an Apple watch which I also don’t wear.

I must have gone 30 years not wearing a watch but was recently given a couple; a Michael Kors and a Tissot, as presents and can't imagine not wearing them now.

    Yeah speed master professional moonwatch.

Always said I would get a seamaster but saw that which looks nicer.

    They’re over £2500 second hand.

Seamaster is more affordable. My issue is I don’t really like wearing a watch. But I want one.

I’ve got one which hold sentimental value I bought for £500 from the little cash I got when my grandad died over 20 years ago. It’s an ellesse watch. They’re worthless now.

Omega’s seem to hold their value and after 20 years go up in value.

Omega's are very nice watches Sweats.

Don't think I'd want to spend that much on a watch though.

My wife's the watch-freak in our house.

She's totally incapable of walking through duty-free without buying one!!

I think omega are the nicest. Quite understated. Don’t like Rolex, tag are over priced and lose value. Breitling are to in your face and garish.

I have an interest in horology.

You can get a good automatic from as little as £500. If you buy a top end brand automatic you’ll generally not lose much (if anything) on it over the long term. You just have to ensure you get it manufacture serviced every 5 years.

I wear a watch, think they're very nice things.

Mines only a Accurist but I like it. I wouldn't personally spend big money on one but each to their own.

I went out the other day without my watch, felt a bit lost tbh. Phone was in the car and I asked some guy that had a watch on the time - he got his phone out and looked <doh>

I bought a Chanel J12 before they were a Chavccessory, gave it to my Mrs so it'll be lying around in some box somewhere by now.

I want an Hublot Big Bang all black so will maybe treat myself to one of them when I deliver the next big scheme at work.
