I'll only post the key results (the ones involving British and Irish clubs and the Faroese ones, obv) at this stage, there's a lot of ****ty clubs involved that nobody will give a **** about. Europa League Dinamo Minsk 1-2 Derry City (Dinamo win 3-2) Molde 5-1 Glenavon (Molde win 6-3 on aggregate) AIK 1-1 Shamrock Rovers (AIK win 2-1) Shakhtyor Soligorsk 2-0 Connah's Quay Nomads (Shaktyor win 5-1) FC Nordsjaelland 2-1 Cliftonville (Nordsjaelland win 3-1) Titograd Podgorica 1-2 B36 Torshavn (B36 win 2-1 ) Dundalk 2-1 FCI Levadia (Dundalk win 3-1) Coleraine 0-2 Spartak Subotica (Spartak win 3-1) NSI Runavik 4-6 Hibernian (Hibs win 12-5 on aggregate - that's still impressive for NSI, they aren't even the biggest team in the Faroes) Shkupi 0-0 Rangers (Rangers win 2-0) Champions League Celtic 3-0 Alashkert (Celtic win 6-0) TNS 4-0 Shkendija (Shkendija win 5-4) Crusaders 0-2 Ludogorets (Ludogorets win 9-0) Legia Warsaw 3-0 Cork City (Legia win 4-0) HJK Helsinki 3-1 Vikingur Gota (HJK win 5-2) So, from that list, if you cba to read it, the ones to progress from our board (I think), AIK, B36 , Dundalk, Hibernian, Rangers and Celtic. Burnley start next week against Aberdeen, so at least one UK side going out there. Cork City drop into the Europa League and receive a bye to the next round. Some interesting ties for anybody still reading this who is remotely interested in European football: Champions League CFR Cluj vs Malmo FF Celtic vs Rosenborg Europa League TNS vs Lincoln Red Imps Torpedo Kutaisi vs Vikingur Gota Olijmpia Ljubljana vs Crusaders SK Sarejavo vs Fiorentina Aberdeen vs Burnley Norsjaelland vs AIK NK Osijek v Rangers B36 Torshavn vs Besiktas (Christ alive, what a tie that is) Viitorul Constana vs Vitesse Hibernian vs Asteras Tripolis
I’ve been plotting the winners as they pass through the various rounds of the Europa League. I started with Cefn Druids from Wrexham in the preliminary round and so far I’ve been to Lithuania twice (Trakai) and Kazakhstan (Pavlodar). Next up for visiting is Trakai again and Belgrade. I haven’t actually visited these places, but it’s fun to think about the practicalities of going to each game. For me it is, anyway.
why? aberdeen are a decent club with no budget compared to the glasgow clubs they can't even compete with a conference club for wages it's a complete mismatch v burnley i hope aberdeen win
I used to go and watch them, had my fair share of abuse there even though I was supposed to be supporting Aberdeen, so stopped going. Hope they get stuffed 10-0, a shower of ****s their supporters.
Dirtiest filthiest scumbag supporters ever according to a couple of Rangers jocks I used to work with. Absolutely despised them.
