Hull City fans around the world will be able to will be able to keep up-to-date with the Tigers' progress during the 2018/19 season via an exciting new live streaming service - Tigers TV LIVE. The Club have made a major investment in their infrastructure to deliver supporters an improved multi-camera service that will also include commentary, replays and additional broadcast graphics to provide an enhanced viewing experience. Live streaming will be available as part of varying packages, depending on whether you are a domestic or international supporter. Live streaming in the UK will be done on a pay-per-match basis, whereas international streaming will have the option of a monthly subscription. Every non-televised league (Carabao Cup and FA Cup matches are not eligible for live streaming) game will be available for overseas supporters to view live on a special platform on the Club’s official website. Due to EFL broadcast restrictions, the full international live streaming service above is unavailable to fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland. However, domestic supporters will be able to watch all live games that kick off outside the 3pm Saturday window, with the exception of Bank Holiday fixtures and those shown live on Sky Sports, whilst UK-based fans will be able to subscribe to matchday audio commentary, as they did last season. As the Club is not part of the EFL digital collective, it can provide its own bespoke streaming service, which will be an enhancement of the iFollow initiative that was launched by the EFL ahead of the previous campaign, with the majority of matches set to be filmed by three or four cameras. The Tigers TV LIVE service will be delivered by club partner StreamAMG, who have enjoyed a long working partnership with the Club. StreamAMG power the vast majority of non-EFL Digital clubs’ streaming services and have picked up a host of accolades, including Best Streaming Platform at the 2017 Streaming Media Viewers’ Choice awards. With Sky Sports broadcasting Hull City’s opening Championship fixture against Aston Villa, the first international live streamed game for the Club will be the Yorkshire Derby clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday 11th August. The first eligible match for UK streaming will be the midweek trip to Rotherham United on Tuesday 21st August. In addition to Tigers TV Live, the Club will continue to provide the full 90 minutes of each and every match for free on Tigers TV, which will be posted after the embargo as usual (12pm on the day after the game). A highlights package will also be made available to watch on Tigers TV and the Club’s official YouTube channel. It's excellent news for overseas fans, but not much use for UK based fans, barely any of the games will be available to stream.
Haven't really read through the thread, but not possible to work around with VPNs and stuff like that?
Quite possibly, though I notice several clubs tightened up last season and required a foreign bank account for payments as well (though I think that was for season long access, rather than pay per game).
A VPN wouldn't get round it as you need overseas accounts to register. Will make illegal streams more available.
a vpn works but it's harder than just popping a vpn on sometimes they have software to determine a vpn similar to how netflix does but there are ways around it
apparently to legally watch all the games shown on british tv it'd cost £71 a month with a bt amazon and sky sports subscription good job the big streamers are foreign and can't be touched by the high court order
I can't see this implementation going smoothly, like previous occations. I don't seem to be able to logon to my TigersTV account, despite having being charged through the close season by amg. Any other expat unable to logon ?
To be fair, credit where it's due. A rare good thing to come out of the club, particularly the domestic stuff. I don't think any other club has an option for domestic fans to stream any games at all?
