Why would our guest assume we couldn't afford Fekir if they upped the price?, If Klopp wants him he'll probably get him, it seems the old cliche about Liverpool being skint has fooled many.
The money has been there for a long time, it's purely down to the owners if and when it's released for players.

Who walked away a couple of weeks back, Lyon, Liverpool or the player? It all came over a bit sudden and vague.

I’m not sure tbh I guess. I still that Lyon’s best play will prove to be to have moved him at that time. I don’t think Liverpool will pay now what they would’ve then.

Very much agree with that. I am certain we do not have an endless pit of money, and had we bought fekir i do not believe we would have been going for alisson. I actually think that video did for karius, the one at tranmere. I dont think he will get rid but i do think klopp has decided that the road back for karius is not going to be an easy one, certainly not if first choice.
I think klopp will give him a chance but only if karius wishes to stay.
As a result any money set aside for fekir i believe has now been spent, the next few weeks will see us trying to move on those we do not wish to keep.
And lyon will find another buyer who may or may not pay what we were going to pay

It's not the first time he's said there will be no more transfers. We've signed players after he's said it before, it's also proven to be the truth before. Who knows what will happen this time.
