I can feel a wager coming on. £1 a week that at 08.00 on Monday mornings from after the 1st game is played that Leeds are lower in the table than 10thagainst £1 a week that Leeds will be 10th or higher. In short I am convinced that we will not be higher than 10th for most if not all weeks of the campaign,
I'll do better then that. I'll bet you £2 a week that Leeds a) Stay in the top 10 b) Are ahead of Millwall Every Monday at 8am from now until 4th August. Put your money where your mouth is....
Was thinking exactly the same myself, the amount we’ve already shipped out already and we’re still scared to compete with the going rate for half decent player wages
What would be the fallout if Bielsa walked out on us next week and said your owners are liars and they failed to back me in the transfer market despite promises before I joined? Would gates go through the floor, would we see protests, would the bad publicity force Rads to find a new buyer? If the choice is the current squad going through another season with no decent additions or Bielsa walking and forcing something to happen I’m edging towards wanting Bielsa to stick two fingers up.
Too late you boarded HMS Happyclappy and sailed away... The fallout would be not being able to move for people saying sorry GWR.
I'm assuming Bielsa is doing the intelligent thing and finding out what we need before signing someone we don't need.
OK guys - bet of the coming season - what d'ya think? Cardiff to finish higher in their division than Leeds do in theirs. Cardiff can't be lower than 20th so it's a no brainer.
Trouble is we don't know what the agreement was between Radz and Bielsa. It may all be going according to their agreed plan for all we know. Radz and his crew should sell up and FU--OFF if he is not going to support the club. Why do LU ALWAYS attract such **** owners.
Just had a good shake - but no matter how hard you shake, the last drop always ends up in your underpants.
So it's the fault of Radz that we've not signed anyone? I thought he simply provided the budget. Isn't it Orta's job to use that budget to sign players, once a target has been agreed with Bielsa? I believe so. I'm guessing on the basis of their salaried position within the club, and what from I've read from trusted newsmen / club announcements. A lot of people are making huge assumptions and laying blame without necessarily knowing what they're talking about. Personally, I support Leeds no matter who we sign. I might not like it, but it's my club & it's my job to support them. And I love my job. I am actually heartened that we've not signed a dozen journeymen in the hope that one or two might be half decent, as we have in the past. Bielsa seems to know what he wants & is happy to work with what he's got if we can't land his targets. Would people really hope we sign players just for the sake of it? I'll go with Bielsa. He knows a damn sight more about players and what he's looking for than anyone on here, any other social media outlet, or any of the Newsnow rumour merchants.
Just sipping a cocktail on board HMS Happy Clappy and enjoying the view of the angry and frustrated. Will be happily staying on board until the actual window closes on 9 August/manager leaves. As neither of those are currently happening will just keep sipping my cocktail and enjoying the view.
The nett result is this squad isn’t good enough. You know it, I know it and unless he is completely **** Belgrano knows it. It doesn’t matter why we haven’t showed any ambition to improve the only concern is we haven’t. Ultimately it’s down to the owner
