Everton supposedly after Richarlison and Malcom, surely that means Lookman is on his way. Wouldn't mind taking a punt on him, probably end up at Fulham or somewhere though

 

That would be a good purchase, good young exciting player

 

The other side of the coin with the possible signing of Cameron is that he would be a cheapish PL experienced cover for a few positions that would save us buying 2 or 3 other players for the same cover freeing up more space in the squad also and saving on wages too.

I'd back Sparky's judgement on this one personally IF it is even on the cards.

 

I'll be surprised if Dembele spends another season at Celtic. He's the type of player we need, and given our 'close relationship' with Celtic, you'd think we'd be all over trying to bring him in.

 

They're still in the CL - he went off injured in thier victory last night. If Celtic go out to Rosenberg who are next up for them, I would expect something to happen there.

 

I saw that he got a couple of goals, but didn't realise he picked up an injury. Yeah, Celtic usually make us wait until they've progressed in the Champions League, though they don't have the same luxury with that given the window shuts earlier than normal.

 

Possible ITK - Origi

 

I'd deffo back that deal.

 

Origi is a weird one. Has been utterly terrible in the last 2 seasons out on loan, seriously bad to the extent he got into the worst team in Ligue 1 for his season at Lille and was the person a lot of people blamed for a talented Wolfsburg side almost getting relegated from the Bundesliga last year.

But there is something about him that makes me think there is a player in there somewhere, but I wouldn't want him as our main striker buy as there is a far higher chance that he continues being useless than there is of him suddenly putting everything together and becoming good.

 

If true...a definite no. We aren't so rolling in cash and talent that we can afford a risky deal....unless we plan to scatter him with Saints stardust then sell him back to Liverpool where he reverts to type.

 

That would be fun though, buy him for cheap from Liverpool, make him x10 better. Sell him back to Liverpool for x10 the fee we bough him for.

Danny Ward, Liverpool's soon to be 4th choice keeper, going to Leicester for £12m. Schmeichel to Chelsea to replace Courtois? Makes Gunn for £10m look alright as well.

 

Kasper must be worth 50+ in this market surely?

 

Bas Dost seemingly going back to Sporting CP on a 3 year deal.

 

Shame, I would of loved him at Saints.

I thought that a lot of Leicester fans view Kasper in a similar light to how many Saints fan view Fraser?

He had a very poor 2017/18, by all accounts. (Not that I'm speaking from experience - although I can immediately recall errors against Liverpool and Chelsea.)
