Too fecking busy.. So when and where is it? Are you going or am I persona non grata? Did you see that I ignored your bait.
What is it you often say? Oh yes, Google is your friend. ..... or have you fallen out with Google too?
Yes loads of times. For what seemed like years we always seemed to play them away over Christmas and New Yea in the 80s.. If was even fecking freezing when we played them in the playoffs in the middle of May.
York City supporters are reminded that Thursday night's home friendly against Leeds United (kick-off 7pm) is 'pay-on-the-turnstile' with entry only to the Main Stand and David Longhurst Stand. No tickets are on sale in advance. Leeds United supporters have been allocated approximately 2,500 tickets in the Grosvenor Road terracing and the Popular Stand. Tickets for Leeds supporters are available ONLY via the Leeds United Ticket Office and website and no tickets for away areas of the ground are on sale at Bootham Crescent prior to the game. The club can confirm that any 'unsold' tickets for away supporters will be available to purchase on the turnstiles on a strictly 'first-come, first-served' basis tomorrow night. The turnstiles will open at 5.45pm. However, the club would like to stress that the only way to guarantee a ticket in the 'away' sections is to purchase in advance from Leeds United outlets. Home supporters ONLY will have access to the ground via turnstiles 1-13 in the club car-park. Ticket prices are £8 adults, £4 concessions.
It's never the coldest - no way. Pittodrie in Aberdeen is literally on the beach. There's always a freezing cold easterly wind comes in. My old man & I went there for the first game of the season once, in August. Sun splitting the trees. Tshirt & shorts. Bought about 6 cups of soup during the match. To hold as a source of heat. We were feckin' freezin'.
2 words. Roker Park... Inverness cant exactly like the Nou Camp being on the Moray wotisit and 10ft from the North Sea.
