Was it the Citra? I was on the Guinness last night and my guts have been horrendous this morning. Bah!
One of the reasons I’ve never had a night on Guiness. Don’t think I’ve ever had more than 1 in the same day.
I love it and don't usually have such issues, It coul have been the keebab what done the damage though! Bah!
EVERY Canaries fan should read this : http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...-members-of-the-championship-stagnation-club/ Sorry, I can't copy and paste the salient points, my laptop is playing up. Yes, we could easily become another perpetual member of the Championship and I like the comment as to how Wolves have bought their way into the PL, whereas QPR failed. #becarefulwhatyouwishfor
I think it's a pretty poor read to be honest, doesn't really address the title, it's mostly a ramble about the state of our squad. And anybody putting Martin in their first choice XI needs their head examining, rather than their viewpoint taken seriously...
LOVED the comment re Martin and have to agree. It will be interesting to see how the squad cars be shaped into a TEAM and I'm quietly optimistic, though that could ALL change by 2pm on 02/09/18!! What I was trying to get at is the financial state in which we find ourselves and whether seeking outside investment is good or bad. IMO, I'd like to see it, but I'm also wary that we could end up as the next Leeds/Forest/Portsmouth etc, etc.
I agree with DH, MFW is generally good with mostly well written articles, this was a rare exception as a number of the btl commenters remarked. His arguments were full of holes. Martin! Ha! I agree with JM though, I would support sensible external investment. Bah!
Klopp must be over the moon. I really thought this would be a deal too far with so many of the words best clubs wanting him. I really admire their determination, and never feeling a transfer is lost. They hold off, come back in again for a player, if he's the one Klopp wants. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44890499
He is putting together a quite formidable team and I MAY even have to go the Angel Gardens when they're on Sky!!! Edit - they usually have an Oakham beer on!!!
Seeing as one or two on here are not prepared to give Matthews a chance, we should have outbid Liverpool for Allison, after all, it's only money and we apparently earned billions in the Premiership. I remember when we got JR from Everton, he was a bit hit and miss in pre-season but JM Fan and I said give him a chance to settle. He turned out to be a very good keeper until his bad injury, so for goodness sake give Matthews a chance.
C'mon Dave it is meerly a forum discussion, flippant nonsense about Allison doesn't add anything. I would like to see Matthews given a go between the sticks, but I don't see him in training and only in snippets from these pre-season games. That he has not impressed in those snippets means, I like several others, am concerned that he might not make the grade. With transfer windows as they are, we have to trust in those who see him not just in training but in every minute of the practice matches to judge whether he is good enough now to be our number 1 til January. Of course this also extends to McGovern, is he good enough to step up if Matthews struggles? Or even to start as No.1? The fact that there has been a number of articles speculating our interest in other keepers, suggests to me that perhaps Webber and Farke are not sure about him either. My concern is that we cannot afford to buy anyone better or prospectively better, so another loan it would have to be, but it seems like our first couple of GK loan options have now both been sold, so will not be available. Bah!
Paddy Davitt, who wrote the report quoted on the pre-season thread by JM fan (?) is not convinced RM is the answer, and he sees every kick at Colney, friendlies, pre-season and league matches. I suggest his opinion is slightly more valid than canary Dave, who I sincerely doubt has seen Matthews kick a ball in anger in a yellow shirt
