Don't need a block, don't be scared all your life, the world copes just fine, not being part of a block that won't exist in 10 years.

    Time will tell...
Apparently somebody didn’t like the way the breakfast thread from Friday developed, have left the forum as a result and now the thread is blocked.
Who left, what they took offence at is unknown..
But if a bit of knockabout isn’t allowed the place will be in its arse in days.
There is fook all to talk about 24/7

The world copes fine because it has spent years and years creating and negotiating deals and treaties with other countries and trading blocks. We have spent the last 40 years creating those deals collectively with other European nations. We walk away without a deal and those no longer apply so in the space of less than 9 months we would have to replicate those deals. So for flights we walk away without a deal and suddenly we can no longer fly to europe without negotiating a new deal (good luck with how favourable that deal will be after you've just walked away from them). We'd also need to strike up new deals with the rest of the world in less than 8 months....

    And that's just flights.

It's as big a fantasy as the idea that somehow our vote meant the end of the EU rather than leaving the EU.

It's not about being scared it's about not being recklessly stupid. Would it be scary to jump off a 2000 foot cliff with a parachute? Yes but achievable. Would it be scary to jump off a 2000 foot cliff without a parachute. Yes and also involves death.

Here's one for you,we have probably 5-6 million EU people living here, and you 2 dipsticks think they would stop them going home to visit family,or family visiting them.Any Government who put there name to that would have riots and be out of power in weeks.

Exactly.. that’s why no deal is not an option.
As deal is a mirror image of staying but with no influence but at higher cost even the most blinkered idiot should be coming round to admitting you lot ****ed up.
Go on admit it.. you know it makes sense.

And sadly the only way some people would believe it is when it actually happened. Part of me would love someone like Boris or that other idiots idea of an intelligent person JR-M to be given the leadership and walk away with no deal and unleash the ****-storm just so brexiteers could be shown what their fantasy actually means. But the economic cost on everyone not to mention the political forces it could unleash are too great.

Speaking of out of power. https://www.politicshome.com/news/u...a-may/news/96850/labour-takes-commanding-poll

Theresa May is cracking, she's now resorting to threats.

As far as I'm aware, May can't cancell Brexit cos article 50 has already been enacted, anyone know the facts.

    Theresa May given ultimatum.

He's slowly making his move, but there's talk Boris would be favourite to take over the PM position ousting Theresa May the 2 faced back stabbing witch of Britain.

Like many questions in this area I’ve read various answers. From its now legally locked in to we could stop the process at any time.

I think it’s pretty clear the EU would not be ‘difficult’ if we said we’d only been kidding. We would not get back things like the Medicines agency. Would not put it past them to try to impose worse terms (eg no UK rebate) if we stopped art 50. They are that stupid.

Oh and JRM is a twat, by the way. Just because he agrees with you on brexit does not change that in any way.
