I replied to Huck's tweet that in was gutted to see him leave!! He is DEFINITELY a player to watch. #watchthisspace
Villa deep in it! https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/staggering-wages-left-aston-villa-12658260
This has been threatening ever since they failed to win promotion. Just read this on the article - 'However, Football League clubs meeting in Portugal at their annual meeting are in the mood to clamp down on clubs who flout FFP.' Makes you feel a tad smug that NCFC doesn't have that problem.
This should be a warning to the Delia haters who want a big money owner This can happen all too easily
Not being funny Dave, but I would like Delia out for someone with deeper pockets, but more important than that is that they have some savvy in running a football club. This is no new warning, it has happened to several clubs who had deep pockets but lacked the savvy. Did Wolves not just get promoted whilst pissing all over FFP? Every season we will get examples of the pluses and minuses of the two routes, but you know what, even if villa go into admin, get points docked? relegated? they will come again, it may take a few seasons like Leeds but with their size they'll at least join the rest of us hopeing for the stars to align and to eventually return to the PL. Bah!
I understand exactly where you are coming from General my concern is that for every success using this method there appear to be at least two failures That makes it a high risk in my book.
Wet Sham are splashing the cash in this window, they've just bought Anderson for £36 M. I wonder where their money has come from?
When did Fulham sign Jean Michael Seri!?! I missed that!! He has been constantly linked with Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, Man City and Barcelona the past few windows!! What a signing! That's mental!
Not too shabby for them! So is Webber's next trick going to be to sign a load of Qatari youth players, and cream that money off in 2022?
I don't feel that angry anymore. I was posting it more as a fact that a young lad we created is now playing European football.
Yes, it's incredibly annoying, but it what our club does. So it's not a shock. It's nice to see a player we created play on such a stage. Like Gunn, although no one knows that we made him, he's "A Man City youth player"
Isn't it brilliant!!! Edit - I could see a lot of Huck's in him, as he was his manager for several years.
Yep. Our club saw nothing in him, and that’s amazing. Apparently. Don’t dare say you are disappointed about it. Or you’ll get attacked by other poster who say they were disappointed. But don’t you dare have an opinion that’s the same.
