What? You're not going to win the CL this season, because you're in the Premier League. Oh and cos it's Jose meltdown season
You said Moyes was the right appointment at the time. A coach in the mould of Fergie. You said you would never want the likes of Jose and his anti football at United
Interesting that Chelsea have said that Conte was in breach of contract so haven't paid out his contract. That will rumble on, something else they don't really need either.
Lets not beat around the bush. The guy has won **** all, yes he builds attractive attacking teams, supposedly, but he has won nothing. I am going to give him a chance, but it seems like we have hired the Italian Pochettino. Jorginho is a good signing, by all accounts. Get rid of Hazard and Courtois and reinvest, we will get £120m for those two (I put it as £90m for Hazard and £30m for Tortoise), let Sarri build a team and see what he can do. One thing we need to do is keep Willian, or if we have to sell him, make sure it isnt to Man Utd, really dont want a repeat of the Matic and Mata incidents.
Maurizio Sarri: Who is the new Chelsea manager and what is his football history? https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44809500
According to SB Nation: While Law’s report is a bit vague on the details of this potential legal fight — Conte’s disgust is not basis for any sort of legal battle — Italian sources, such as Gianluca Di Marzio reveal that Chelsea are claiming “just cause” for the sacking, pointing to Conte’s handling of wantaway Diego Costa’s exit, his deteriorating relationship with the players (that’s never happened before!), and his “behavior” (battle for control, lack of communication, both two-way streets) in general. If those sound like frivolous reasons for claiming a breach of contract, you’re probably right. Conte calling in the lawyers at this point is only to be expected. Nice....nice way to treat the coach with the highest win % in our clubs history, who got us two major trophies in two seasons. Where was his deteorating relationship with the players when they were lifting the FA Cup? Ridiculous if you dont want to keep paying out huge compensation to managers, then stop giving them huge compensation clauses in their contracts and then ****ing sacking them....twats!
It's a Claudio Ranieri type appointnent. Now that other clubs' spending is eclipsing Abramovic's, then Chelsea are relatively back to where they were 15+ years ago, no surprise then that they are hiring a Ranieri level manager. He did help Chelea climb the table and qualify for CL footy so that'll be Sarri-ass's remit.
