BruceyBeaks - I think Catts brings a lot more than a ball winner to the table and like you say he makes things tick. Having said that, what I love most of all is that he passes the ball forward nearly every time he gets the ball. This is a great thing because your positioning has to be right to allow you to do this. Henderson for me just passes backward and sideways. It's like watching David Batty all over again but hopefully he will learn. Really looking forward to seeing Muntari play. He has some tekkers....!!!
I think that Catts before his injury was starting to get forward a lot more and get shots off as well, in the same way Bardo has in recent weeks, the timing of it was a real shame. As for Jordan, i honestly believe he is capable of being one of the finest RIGHT midfielders this country has produced, he just doen't influence the game in the middle, and it is because of what you say, his passing is limited, so he plays it safe, often off to the side or backwards. He does though have the ability to run at a man and put a decent cross in. Personally, when all fit, i'd play Catts AND Muntari holding, giving freedom to the 'front 4', and wing backs. Gyan Richardson Sessengnon - Jordan Catts - Muntari Bardinho - Mensah /Turner - Bramble - Nedum Superman That is a naughty team, and would cause ANYONE problems, with the likes of Steeed, Frazier, Anton, Welbeck and Bolo, amongst others as options. That's some side potentailly.
