Top stuff Steel's You are odds on for a cracking weekend Bro Please post your highlights when you get back if thats OK? Wish I was there also dude
I have renamed this thread as a mark of respect to my mate Sooperhoop who has just gone very uncharacteristically quiet of late. When I posted this thread it would not have taken off or been the success it has been without his enthusiasm and top posts over these last few years. I don't know what he is doing right now or if he is ok or even still with us, but like many on here I miss his top and very witty input on our forum.
I would also like to say another massive thank you to everyone who has and keeps this thread alive My Bro @Steelmonkey is the gift that keeps giving like many other regulars on here (your in charge my friend) I keep finding some top top music thanks to you all
Belter of a weekend....this was my eighth year at this festival, and one of my favourites. Some brilliant new music discovered, some old favourites revisited, plus the World Cup and tennis on a huge screen - all in glorious sunshine (ok, not all glorious, a bit damp yesterday but nothing on the downpours we had there last year). Anyway, here's some highlights.... First up, Stonefield - Aussie psych girl band who I've posted before..... walked into a tent on Friday evening and they were on, and were brilliant.....
And to the other extreme, not a huge Rap fan, but this fella is excellent live, with some great lyrics in his music....
Couple more bands from Friday night.... Former BBC6 Music Best Part-time Band winners Bombskare with their manic Ska show....really popular, tent was jumping
And a band I posted on here at least 2 years ago, was really looking forward to seeing how they were live - didn't disappoint.....
Saturday, bit hungover after trying to work my way through the craft beer menu, some seriously strong stuff on sale!! Bit of calmer music.....and that's not me dancing in the video
