Probably because we were much better as well... I wouldn't know if he was playing or not either as I wasn't playing that season due to injury...
The topic of conversation seemed to focus so much on Martin, it was as if we weren't currently playing a football match. This is what this thread was set up for after all. Thought I'd make something up about the game, and see if anyone actually noticed and believed it. If people want to debate about Martin, set up a Martin thread!
Wonder why Lallana's captain and someone like Schneiderlin/Cork isn't....ah well. Good to see we're 2-0 up, hope we see the youngsters get on at some point And I will also pledge my allegiance to the Harding, Martin and Harding-and-Martin club
Out of the players on the pitch the most inspirational and vocal player. Has one hell of a pair of lungs on him and you can constantly hear him talking on the pitch.
It's not about age, it's about leadership and presence. I personally don't see Lallana as a future captain, not right now anyway. I will happily be proved wrong however
I've said for a while that Lallana may make a good captain. I felt he carried the team at times last season. However, I wonder whether the burden of being captain would hamper his performances or whether he would strive with it? :/
Yeah I agree. If he sticks with us for the long run, I can definitely picture him leading the Saints out
Not only am I an admirer of both Martin (to an extent) and am hardings BIGGEST fan! But I also just realised which film your signature is from!
